Whether you enjoy a spot of relaxed dinghy sailing or prefer to brave the elements as an extreme kitesurfer, our water sports policies have been specially designed to provide you with excellent tailored cover at highly competitive rates. However much of a water sports enthusiast you are we can ensure that you are comprehensively covered whilst on water.

Not only do we cover you for your actual water activity but our specialist sports policy ensures that your expensive kit and equipment is covered too. We realise that water sports gear can get quite pricey which is why we will make sure it is covered for up to £1000 in transit!

GRADE 1 SPORTS (Standard Cover at no extra charge)

The following Grade 1 sports and activities are covered on an incidental (occasional) basis during your trip, unless stated otherwise in the policy wording:

Banana Boat Rides, Beach games, Canoeing (Grades 1 to 3), Dinghy Sailing, Fishing, Jet boating, Jet skiing, Kayaking (Grades 1 to 3, life jacket and helmet must be worn), Parascending/Parasailing (over water), River canoeing (up to Grade 3), Rowing, Sailboarding, Sailing (inside territorial waters), Snorkelling, Surfing (amateur, under 14 days), Water polo (amateur), Water skiing (amateur), Windsurfing (amateur), Yachting (passenger only, inside territorial waters).


GRADE 2 SPORTS

This grade has been created for the more confident water sports person, this grade will encompass all of grade 1 and the following cover applies: Black water rafting (grade 1-4) life jacket and helmet must be worn, High Diving under 5 metres (no cliff diving), Jet Skiing (non incidental), Parascending/Parasailing (over water, non incidental), Sea Canoeing, Sea Fishing (non Incidental), Surfing (amateur), White Water Rafting - Grades 1-4, Waterskiing/Windsurfing/Snorkelling (non Incidental), Yachting/Sailing (non incidental, as a member of a crew, inside territorial waters)


GRADE 3 SPORTS

Canoeing, Kayaking, Sand yachting, Yachting (passenger only) outside territorial waters


GRADE 4 SPORTS

Canyoning, Kite Surfing


You can partake in a variety of different sports activities within your grading without having to take out an array of policies, you are automatically covered for all of them!
