Usually located a few miles away, just off a motorway junction, they are ideally positioned if you do not want the hassle of getting lost within the sprawling airport grounds. The majority of car parks operate transfer services to take you to and from the car park to the terminal building; this is normally included in the booking price. If there is a group of you travelling, look into pooling your cars. Fewer cars, means fewer spaces, leaving you with more spending money. And you will also be helping the environment.2) Pre book. If you pre-book your car parking space you can save as much as 60% on the gate price. 3) Security at airport car parks can vary so for peace of mind, look for those car parks accredited by the AA or ACPO. The AA awards are issued by the Police. Things to look for:- 24 hour guard, high security fencing, CCTV and barrier control. 4) If you prefer to arrive in style, then a number of companies offer meet & greet services. This service allows you to be met at the terminal, your car parked for you and delivered to you when you return.
