Granada Weather
Granada‘s weather is one of warm summers and cool winters, with daily averages of 25°C in July and August.
Summer
Due to Granada’s high altitude, daily summer temperatures are high in the day and low at night. The best time to be here is anywhere between June and September, when most days are sunny and it never gets cool enough for layered clothing.
Winter
However, the temperature really starts to drop after October. Although Granada does not experience that much rain and when it does rain, it rarely lasts for more than a few days, it is still worth bringing an umbrella and a jacket if you are here during this time of the year. It is advisable to bring warm weather clothing in the wintertime, when nightly temperatures can plummet to freezing. Daytime temperatures are usually warm, however.
