Formentera Travel Guide
Formentera is thought of as the last unspoilt island in the Mediterranean. With white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters it attracts families, nature lovers, nudists and young affluent holidaymakers from all over Europe. Often thought of as Ibiza’s little sister the island of Formentera couldn’t be more different from it’s wild sibling.
Arrive by ferry from Ibiza
It’s a little tricky to get there as you need to take a flight to Ibiza then travel to Ibiza town and get a ferry over to Formentera. It’s well worth the effort though as it’s lack of airport and underdeveloped roads and resorts give it a distinctly Caribbean feel.
Formentera Climate
The weather is great for most of the year with approximately 300 days of unbroken sunshine each year.
