For travellers from international destinations and those on the North Island, the most convenient way to get to Dunedin would be to fly to its international airport. However, it is also possible to cross over to the South Island from the North Island by boat. Several cruise ships also dock at Otago on the South Island. From here, it is very easy to get to Dunedin.

Dunedin is popular for its museums as well as its penguin and albatross colonies that are located nearby. Beaches and quaint pubs add to the charm of the area, which hasnt lost its early pioneering spirit. Dunedin, an old city, has several places of historical interest to visit including Lanarchs Castle. Victorian and Edwardian architecture and modern art galleries are just some of its many attractions.
