Nashville Weather

Nashville has a temperate climate, lacking extremes of temperature during its distinct seasons. A high annual rainfall keeps things green and clean, but there are enough sunny days in between to keep everyone happy.

Spring and summer

Springtime in Nashville is a warm and wet season, with temperatures reaching around 20°C. Summers are warm and humid, with July and August being the hottest months of the year, when daytime temperatures can reach around 30°C. The humidity during this season can make it quite sticky, even if temperatures do not rise to major highs.

Autumn and winter

Autumn is an enjoyable season, with warm temperatures and less rainfall than other months. Winters in Nashville are cool, with the months of December, January and February bringing the coolest weather of the year. Daytime January temperatures can drop to around 7°C and night temperatures can drop to below freezing. There can be quite a lot of rainfall during winter and occasional snowfall.
