Fort Worth Weather

Fort Worth has a pleasant climate. Spring and autumn are gentle and there are a few thunderstorms during the year. Because of its location, Fort Worth is not at risk of hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes, blizzards or catastrophic fires and floods. However, there is the occasional tornado, as Fort Worth lies in the southernmost tip of Tornado Alley.

Hot summers and cool winters

Summers are hot, and July to August can become unbearable for many. Winters in general are cool, but there are days when the weather is pleasantly warm. During the winter months of December to February, Fort Worth experiences rain and snow.
