With over seven miles of sands, there are ample opportunities for a morning run, a game of beach volleyball, Frisbee or boules or any of the many water sports that the sea offers. Swimming, surfing and snorkelling can be done unsupervised, while those wanting to scuba dive, water ski, jet ski or windsurf should seek out local beach based companies who have all the knowledge and equipment to assist you in the pursuit of such activities. Away from the beach, visitors looking to keep in shape will find many of the citys popular hotels have their own fitness centres that are free for residents to use. For golfers, there are a variety of courses available; however, only the American Golfers Club on Federal Highway is a public course so you wont be permitted access to others unless its at the invitation of an existing member.
