Daytona Beach Weather

Daytona is subjected to the tropical weather system that dictates the climate for the whole of Florida and as such has year round sunshine, as well as high humidity and a significant amount of rainfall.

Summer

Summers are characteristically hot although, also wet. Temperatures can be seen regularly in the high 20s and rainfall can be up to six inches during June, July and August. Visitors looking for an all out beach holiday may well wish to avoid the city during this time for fear of the rain spoiling their fun.
