Dallas Weather

Dallas has a humid, subtropical climate, yet this part of Texas also tends to receive hot, dry winds from the north and west in the summer.

Spring/summer

The wettest season is spring, when the city experiences heavy rainfall, although this usually only lasts for a few days at a time. Thunderstorms also occur more frequently during this time. Summer runs from June through September. Temperatures reach their peak during July and August, when they can reach around 38°C, and turbulent conditions can take place during this time.

Autumn/winter

Autumn, from September to October, is a pleasant season, with warm, sunny days and cool nights. This is a popular time for tourists to visit Dallas. Winter lasts from November through February, and daytime temperatures can reach up to 18°C, but sporadic drops in temperature to as low as freezing can be experienced. Dallas winters are occasionally interspersed with Indian summers.
