Charlotte Airport Parking

While some airports are choosing to charge excessive premiums for parking spaces, Charlotte Douglas International Airport is taking a pro-active approach by introducing SmartPark, a comprehensive parking awareness programme designed to alleviate extreme traffic congestion at the airport, improve safety and limit overall inconvenience.

Short-term and long-term parking

Drivers wishing to leave their vehicles for short periods only can do so in the hourly parking car park. Here, parking is free for the first 30-minute period. Booking is not normally required to park in this facility.

For drivers looking to leave their cars for the duration of their holiday, the long-term car park is available. To access long-term parking from the terminal, travel to the stoplight and turn left, then right at the next stop sign. While it’s possible to turn up and park in this facility without a reservation, pre-booking online will guarantee that you get a space and provides cheaper rates than those offered on arrival.

Curbside valet parking is available at the east end of the Ticketing/upper level and offers exceptional convenience. Leave your vehicle with the valet representative for parking and upon return, come back to Curbside Valet and have your car returned to you.
