Charleston Airport Hotels

Conveniently located only nine miles northwest of downtown, there is little reason for air passengers to stay out near Charleston International Airport. Taxis and shuttles make the short trip into the city at regular intervals, where there is a large range of accommodation to suit all tastes.

Where to stay

The Historic district in downtown Charleston is a popular place to stay for its charismatic B&Bs, and is within easy driving distance of the airport. Popular choices are the Days Inn Historic District, offering rooms with quaint wrought-iron balconies; Elliott House Inn, housed in an old building with a pretty courtyard; and Maison Dupre, and aging house that has some lovely gardens. More modern options can also be found with ease, with advance booking recommended.
