Austin Airport Hotels

Austin Airport is located only eight miles from the city, so many visitors choose to stay in the downtown area. Nonetheless, there are a number of convenient hotels located near the airport including the Hilton Austin Airport, which is located near the main terminal at the airport.

Which hotel?

The Hilton Austin Airport hotel is located close to the Barbara Jordan Passenger Terminal and offers free shuttle buses to and from the terminal to the hotel. Rooms are equipped with satellite/cable televisions, while hotel facilities include a swimming pool, restaurant, lobby bar and conference rooms.

Other hotels nearby include the Holiday Inn Town Lake, Marriott Austin Capitol, Omni Austin, Ramada Limited Austin and the economically priced La Quinta Capitol. These are all located close to the airport, and all but the La Quinta Capitol offer a shuttle service to and from the terminal.

Where to stay?

Travellers arriving in Austin for a stop-over or a quick business meeting may well choose to stay at one of the convenient airport hotels, though most tourists would be better advised to choose a hotel nearer to the city centre, close to the main attractions and music venues.
