Taxis

Taxi services in Atlanta differ from other US cities. Cabs cannot be hailed or flagged down in the street and must be booked by telephone. There are many immigrant drivers, with a poor command of English, operating many cabs so passengers are advised to book with a reputable company.

From the airport

Trains operate regularly between the airport and downtown Atlanta. Taxis and shuttles provide the next best alternative, or for extra convenience car hire is available from the airport. Many passengers will be able to take advantage of free shuttles provided by the hotels they are booked to stay at.
