Mediterranean climate with chilly evenings
Tijuana's climate is of the Mediterranean type and the Baja Peninsula, where Tijuana is situated, is one of the hottest and driest places on the North American Continent. If you plan to stay in the coastal area of northwestern Mexico surrounding Tijuana, you may experience some coastal fog. The winter rainy season starts in November and last until March. Be prepared for occasional winter storms generated in the Gulf of Alaska.
In the evening, the weather can drop dramatically compared to the warm temperatures during the daytime. The weather in Tijuana is similar to South California, which is usually perfect for trips year-round. You can pack a lot of summer clothes whenever you visit Tijuana, but dont forget to also bring some light jackets or sweaters for the evenings.
