Acapulco Weather
Acapulco's climate is hot and very humid, but its situation next to the sea means residents get the cooling effects of sea breezes. Average temperatures hover around 32°C, with high humidity levels year-round. The town enjoys sunshine nearly every day of the year.
Wet season
The rainy season is between June and October, although downpours tend to be reasonably brief and occur in the late afternoon/early evening. Rainfall and tropical storms are present during the summer - which starts after Easter and ends in December - especially between June and September. Longer rain showers are usually unleashed during the night, so they won't spoil your days at the beach. Temperatures during this time range from 31°C to 34°C.
Dry season
The dry season is from November to April, with temperatures ranging from 30°C to 32°C with moderate humidity. The waters of the Pacific remain quite warm almost year-round, except during winter (from December to April), during which time they are lukewarm.
