Beirut Airport Hotels
With the airport less than six miles from the city centre, airport hotels are not such a priority here; however, there are a couple of notable options for people who need to be close to the airport.
Which hotel?
The nearest hotel to the airport is the Beirut Marriott, which is just over two miles north of the airport. This 174-room, five-star hotel has everything you would expect of a major hotel chain. They have excellent facilities, and all rooms are equipped with a safe, mini-bar and satellite television. The hotel has a good choice of eateries, with five different restaurants and cafés.
The airport is located close to the city, so airport hotels as such, are not a necessity here. The InterContinental Hotel is perhaps the finest in Beirut and provides a free shuttle bus to the airport, whatever time your flight arrives. The hotel is set in a beautiful location overlooking the sea, and is less than five miles from the airport. It has excellent facilities including fitness and business centres.

Where to stay
After the devastation of the Civil War, Beirut’s hotel industry has now fully recovered, with hotels renovated and plenty of new ones appearing. There is a wide range of accommodation options to suit most tastes and budgets. Beirut is a fairly compact area, and most of the popular tourist hotels are in good locations for the main attractions.
The Bella Riva Hotel is one of the best hotels in the city and it has some excellent accommodation, catering for both short-term and long-term stays. The hotel is located on a quiet road, close to the beach and within walking distance from the shopping district of Hamra.
