The climate of Tel Aviv is subtropical, with hot summers, mild winters and high humidity year-round. The average temperature in summer is 25°C and 14°C in winter, although the temperature can also reach 35 °C during heatwaves. The most popular months to visit Tel Aviv are from April to November.

November to April

November to April is Tel Aviv’s wet season, and the city can get very hot and humid during the summer months. With its subtropical climate, Tel Aviv's average summer temperature is 25°C, but the most pleasant time to visit is during April, when the city is much cooler.

May to October

July and August are the busiest months in Tel Aviv, and it is perhaps best to travel to Tel Aviv during the off-season to avoid the crowds and higher costs of accommodation. Temperatures can reach sweltering highs of 31°C in September; winter weather can vary, sometimes there is occasional snow, and once or twice every winter, temperatures can drop to around 6°C in the early morning.
