Tel Aviv Airport Hotels

Visitors to Tel Aviv are spoilt for choice when it comes to the accommodation options that are available. The centre of Tel Aviv is about 25kms from the airport, so whether you choose to stay in a hotel not to far from the airport or in the middle of the city, you are never too far from the hyper-activity the city has to offer.

Which hotel?

The Avia Hotel is near the main crossroads and provides easy access to and from destinations north, south and Jerusalem. Located about five minutes ride from the airport, its is a short trip from the hotel to Tel Aviv. Reservations can be made at the tourist information desk in Arrivals and a free shuttle can be provided.

David InterContinental Tel Aviv, the newest luxury hotel in Tel Aviv city centre, is also just a short drive from the airport. The InterContinental is a WiFi hotspot that offers high-speed internet access. Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers (phone: +972 3 521 1111; website: www.sheraton.com) has state-of-the-art rooms in a great location on the promenade. The Hotel Metropolitan (phone: +972 3 519 2727; website: www.hotelmetropolitan.co.il) is the budget hotel of choice in Tel Aviv, centrally located and offering good value for money.

Where to stay?

The road by the beach is Herbert Samuel boulevard, and it is here that all of Tel Aviv’s luxury hotels are to be found, along with many other accommodation options. The top-end hotels are all multi-purpose and multi-service, and are equally suited to the needs of both business and leisure travellers. Most of these top hotels offer wonderful Israeli breakfast buffets, where there is enough food on offer to keep you going until dinner: salads, custom-made crepes and omelettes, fish, cakes and fruit. In addition, these upscale hotels also offer health clubs, a variety of eateries and swimming pools.
