Jerusalem Weather
The city’s temperate climate has two distinct seasons: winter, which tends to be wet and mild, and long summers that are hot and dry. In mid-summer, temperatures average between 25°C and 30°C, but low humidity means that the weather isn’t uncomfortably hot. Winters are generally mild, with temperatures averaging 9°C. Snow does occasionally occur in the region, though it is usually quickly followed by periods of sunny weather.
When to visit
There is no bad time to visit the city, as the weather is relatively pleasant year-round. The city has low humidity and is generally dry from May to September, while the winter months bring mild weather with occasional rain. The low-season from November to March is also a less expensive time to travel to the city, and the snow-capped hills in the background can add to the magic of the city. Springtime sees the arrival of lush greenery to the city’s parks, and the countryside springs to life with wild flowers and foliage.
