York Leisure

Ghost Hunt

York Racecourse
Having hosted Royal Ascot in 2005, York is home to one of the countrys premier horse racing courses. Staging regular races, the course provides excellent facilities for visitors, including restaurants and lounges and recently won the Northern Racecourse of the Year Award. Golf
The first-class Forest of Galtres Golf Club is located just two miles from Yorks outer ring road. It was designed by Simon Gidman, who was a leading golf course designer. The course features 18 holes in two loops with a par of 72. Non members are welcome. Fulford Golf Club has seen some top-class golfers gracing its course including Seve Ballesteros, Ian Woosnam and Nick Faldo. Prestigious tournaments such as The Martini International and The Benson and Hedges International Event have been staged at the club. All visitors must be members of golf clubs which are affiliated to one of the Golf Unions.
