Weymouth Weather

Weymouth enjoys a temperate climate, with little variation in daily and annual temperatures, and has a reputation as one Britains the sunniest areas. The sheltered position of the town in the south west of England is a contributing factor to this.

Summer

July is the warmest month, with temperature ranging from 12C to 21.7 C. The region, along with the rest of the South Coast, often enjoys the sunniest weather in Britain. Between 1971 and 2000, the resort averaged 1,768 hours of yearly sunshine.

Winter

Winters are not as harsh as in some other parts of England. February is the coolest month, with a highest average temperature ranging from 1.9C to 9.9C. Snowfall is rare as a result of the generally mild climate. It is recommended to take warm clothing and an umbrella when visiting during this time.
