Jersey Weather
Forget about what youve been told of English weather. Jersey is an exception to the rule in the United Kingdom. This island in the Channel consistently logs in the hottest summer temperatures in the British Isles, and the mildest conditions during the long winter months. Coupled with its amazing natural beauty and rural charm, you can see why so many people enjoy vacationing on Jersey.
Picking your season
Most people choose to visit Jersey during the summer months from May to September, when temperatures average a wonderfully pleasant 21C. But this is a small island, and with the hordes of tourists come congestion and higher prices. The best time to come to Jersey is just on either side of summer. Spring and autumn both offer excellent weather, fewer crowds and a more relaxed experience. Most of the islands 33 inches of annual precipitation falls during the winter months, but conditions are still nicer than in the rest of England. Keep in mind that even though the air may feel cool, the sun is still blazing away up there, so wear plenty of sunscreen and a hat when you venture out.
