Exeter Weather
Exeter is influenced by weather patterns coming in from the sea. For the most part, the climate is very mild, though its situation on the eastern coast allows the growth of subtropical vegetation and more amiable weather.
Unpredictability
Although the weather is desirable in many ways, it is subject to change. Long sunny days in the summer can quickly become damp and misty. The same is true in reverse, with miserable mornings seemingly blossoming into sunny afternoons that are fit for a stroll around the Quayside.
Rain
During the summer months, locals enjoy long hours of sunlight and extended twilight in the evenings. Even so, the region is overall a very damp place, especially the farther inland you travel, where the annual levels of rainfall are highest.
