Dundee Weather

Dundee is situated close to the sea and benefits from its warm winds and therefore experiences warmer winters than many inland areas of Scotland. Extreme temperatures are rare and snowfall equally rare during the winter, although rainfall is considerable and spread fairly evenly throughout the year.

Unpredictable weather

Summer weather is as unpredictable as the rest of Scotland, meaning that if the country as a whole is experiencing a good summer, then Dundee will likely see temperatures in the mid to high 20s (C). Generally, summer temperatures are somewhere between 17 C and 25C. Spring and autumn are transitional seasons as in most places and see cooler temperatures, with the former experiencing the most significant precipitation.
