Brighton Restaurants
Brighton is home to over 400 restaurants and cafs serving up food from every continent of the world. Long known as one of the top places for dining on the south coast, the city now boasts a wide variety of cuisine and offers a massive selection of different restaurants. The variety of dining options ranges from Mexican to Lebanese and everything in between, with a surprising number of mouth-watering vegetarian restaurants.
Local cuisine
The cuisine in this region, if that is the right word, is unwaveringly British with fish and chips topping the menu and pub grub featuring a close second. Ripe tart is a traditional dessert made of cherries and almonds. Its a moist, fruity cake and can be served hot or cold.
