Bournemouth Transport
Bournemouth has a good public transport system with buses connecting the inner-city and suburbs all the way to Poole. Walking is also popular, especially in summer, as is cycling. Taxi services are easily found.

Around 250 licensed taxis, which are usually painted yellow and white, operate in Bournemouth as well as almost 400 licensed private taxi vehicles, which are available 24 hours. Tourist services
The Land Train is probably the best way to travel along Bournemouths seashore. Operating on three set routes, it takes visitors to different places including Bournemouth Pier, Alum Chine, Boscombe Pier and Portman Ravine. Reasonably priced tickets are available and the train is especially popular with children. The journey offers much to see including views of the Isle of Wight and Purbecks.
From the airport
Buses connect Bournemouth Airport with the Travel Interchange at hourly intervals, where passengers can transfer to Bournemouth Train Station or the National Express and Flight Link services. Those travelling by car need to exit shortly after the town of Ringwood onto the A338 dual carriageway and follow the signs for Bournemouth. Following the A338 for five miles, you will see the B3073 exit for Bournemouth Airport clearly signposted on your left. Airport approved taxis meet all arriving flights.
