Bath Leisure

The city's best known sporting team is Bath Rugby, a rugby union team which is currently in the Guinness Premiership league. Bath City FC and Team Bath FC (affiliated with the University of Bath) are the major football teams, both of which are in the Southern Football League. Baths sports and leisure facilities are second to none. Visitors to Bath wanting to enjoy a summer afternoon watching cricket have some lovely grounds that welcome spectators for Saturday and Sunday fixtures. The Bath Cricket Club nestled in the bowl beside the River Avon has an imperious setting. Lansdown Cricket Club is an equally attractive ground in the northern area of Bath.
