Bodrum Weather

Bodrum enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and very warm summers.

Summer

Summers are generally hot and dry, but the breeze from the sea, called meltem, cools the air. Temperatures in summer range between 22C and 31C in July and August, while on extremely hot summer days, temperatures can reach up to 35C.

Winter

During the winter season (December to March) the lowest temperatures range between 7C and 10C. In winter, although it gets chilly, it can be mild enough to dine outside, and all you will generally need is a sweater or lightweight raincoat. With sea temperatures ranging from 16C to 25C between summer and winter, Bodrum is a great location for a diving holiday at any time of the year.

Rainfall and showers are rare in the summer months of July and August, when only up to two days experience precipitation. However, rainfall is quite high in the winter.
