Antalya Weather

Antlaya, located in Turkeys Aegean and Mediterranean coastal area, has a great climate year-round; hot summers that are perfect for the beach, mild springs and autumns, and gentle winters. The region only experiences very mild temperature changes as one season moves into the next. In summer, Antalya is a haven for tourists who want to swim, sunbathe, sail and enjoy the Mediterranean sun. During these months, visitors can expect long sunny days with gentle southerly winds.

Gentle winters

Winters are generally moderate, but this is the rainiest time of the year in Antalya. During winter, temperatures fluctuate between 10C to 16C. The strong cold and dry northerly winds at night can cause the temperature to fall by a degree or two.

Even in winter, the climate in Antalya is very pleasant, with warm sunny days interspersed between cooler days. It is a good time to visit if you want to avoid the tourist crowds. Prices at hotels are also cheaper and there are often good deals to be had at this time.

Mild springs and autumns

Because of its location, Antalya has mild springs and autumns compared to neighbouring European cities. Spring in Antalya is very enjoyable, with average temperatures of 13C. In autumn, the weather gets a little colder and there are also occasional thunderstorms and strong winds. In general though, whatever the season, there are always many sunny days to be enjoyed, making visiting Antalya at anytime of the year a fantastic experience.
