Year-round sunshine
Winter is a wonderful time to visit Tarragona, as the days are still very sunny and the weather is mild. Mistral winds blow in mist and fog, and the mercury rarely drops below 7C. The low season for travel runs between April and October, a moderately warm time of year that brings not only fewer crowds, but lower prices too. Tarragona also sees the most rainfall during this time, but the rain does not generally last long and brightness is usually just around the corner. Meanwhile, summer temperatures can hover between 23C and 25C, and the cool sea breezes help to cool things down to a wonderfully comfortable level.
