Weather In Santiago De Compostela
Santiago is known as one of the wettest cities in Spain and at most times of the year, around half the days in one month will have rainfall. The only let up in this dampness is during the summer months of June, July and August. The upside of the citys location is that is has very mild temperatures throughout the year.
Pleasant summers
Temperatures in Santiago do not fluctuate greatly throughout the year, and there is no great drop in the mercury at night. Lows in winter average around 5C, while highs rarely drop below 10C. However, despite this seemingly perfect winter temperature, this is the wettest time of year in the area. Summers, on the other hand, are very pleasant, with only a relatively small chance of rain and highs in the mid-20Cs , which makes this time of year the most popular with visitors.
Although spring and autumn have less rain than winter, most months are still quite wet, even though temperatures are close to perfect. Naturally, the best travel deals are in any month outside of summer and when there is no religious celebrations going on.
