Palma Weather

Majorca has one of the most favourable climates in the whole of Spain, with lovely, warm breezy summers and mild winters.

Summer

Although hot in the summertime, the average temperature is kept below 30°C due to welcoming Mediterranean breezes from all directions. July and August are the busiest times, when hotels are likely to be at their full capacity, while spring and autumn are still warm and are much less busy. Rainfall between May and September is very slight and sea temperatures are pleasant throughout.

Winter

Majorca is also a winter destination, although visitors should be under no illusions that it is a balmy time of year, as with the Algarve in Portugal. Temperatures can dip as low as 10°C in the winter and rainfall is at its highest level, yet daytime temperatures are still very pleasant when compared with European destinations at this time of the year.
