As most passengers arriving at Malaga Airport are holidaymakers, there is little demand for hotels catering for those needing an overnight stopover ahead of travelling elsewhere. In light of this, there are no on-site hotels and none within the immediate vicinity of the airport either.

However, Malaga is a mere eight kilometres from the airport and is home to a wide variety of establishments, with something to suit all tastes and budgets. Malaga offers hotels belonging to reputable Spanish chains as well as big international names such as Novotel. A large number of smaller, independent establishments are also available and are often cheaper, while at the same time offering equally high service and standards.
