Gibraltar Weather

With its position as a meeting point for both the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, Gibraltars weather is subject to frequent and quick changes. However, despite these changes, visitors can be guaranteed hot weather in the summer and mild winters.

Sunny winters

Winter temperatures rarely drop below 7C and commonly reach 16C, making Gibraltar the perfect retreat for those seeking a warmer climate than what many of Europes colder countries offer. Meanwhile, summer temperatures can soar to 40C, with the cool sea and ocean breezes ensuring the heat is bearable.

Even in the winter months, Gibraltar typically boasts sunny days, with limited rainfall throughout the year. If you dont fancy visiting during the peak season between July and August, the months of April and October offer fewer crowds, lower prices and more moderate temperatures, making sightseeing more comfortable.
