Drivers wishing to park their cars at Portela Airport will notice that the facility manages an ample number of parking spaces, allowing it to handle its heavy traffic efficiently. The car parks are split into long-term and short-term parking areas, which are easily found to the right of the terminal upon entering. The airport also offers specially marked spaces for disabled drivers whose cars display the proper identification.

Parking fees and procedures

Portela Airport offers both short-term and long-term parking options. Short-term car parks P1 and P2 have direct access to the terminal. P1 is located near the Departures area and P2 is situated near Arrivals. P3 is a long-term car park and is situated outdoors.

A free airport bus shuttle service links the car parks and the terminal. Disabled drivers can utilise specially reserved spaces that are clearly marked. These parking spaces are located near the lifts, and porter assistance is available upon request.
