There are few specific health risks for people visiting Bergen. It rains quite a lot, so it is important to bring the right clothes and a good rain coat or jacket to ensure the wet weather isnt a problem.

Safety

Bergen is a relatively safe place to visit, but visitors should look after their belongings in busy tourist areas, and the parks in the city are best avoided late at night, especially if you are alone. If you are driving in the city and its surrounding areas then note that there is zero tolerance towards speeding, and the mountainous roads outside the city can get quite treacherous.
