Weather In Olbia

Centrally located in the Mediterranean Sea, Olbia, on the island of Sardinia, has a warm, temperate marine climate. The weather is hot and dry in summer and mild and humid during the winter. Sardinia is a windy region. The main wind during the winter is known locally as the Mistral, which comes from the northwest. During the summer it blows hot, drying out the land and burning the vegetation.

Summer and autumn

The hottest months are July and August, but the presence of the sea and the winds bring welcome relief. Swimming is best from June to October, with water temperatures from 21C to 23C (24C in July and August). Tourism on Sardinia is strictly high-season, which falls in July and August.
