Florence Weather
Florence enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with very high summer temperatures and bags of sunshine, while colder, wetter weather features here in the winter. Spring and autumn are somewhere in-between, both temperature-wise and in relation to the number of visitors at these times.
High season
July and August are without doubt the hottest and busiest months in Florence, with shade temperatures regularly exceeding 30°C. Rainfall during this time is at its lowest and hotel rooms are likely to be booked up well in advance. Spring and autumn can be considered more agreeable seasons, where temperatures are more comfortable.
