Florence Airport Hotels

Not many people who fly to Florence choose to stay near the airport, although there are several accommodation options very near the airport, should city hotels be full or if you are on a layover for business.

Which hotel?

Hotels near the airport include the Autostrada, Eurohotel, Concorde, Mirage and several others. All of these hotels are within one mile of Amerigo Vespucci Airport and many provide a courtesy shuttle bus transfer service. In addition, these hotels have excellent facilities including well appointed rooms.

Where to stay?

Hotels line the route into Florence if you have no joy in finding a place to stay near the airport and the city centre is simply awash with accommodation options, with hotels, guesthouses and pensions in every category and price range. Most hotels in the city centre can be found to the west of the Duomo and near the main railway station, Stazione Santa Maria Novella. Classier hotel establishments line the northern bank of the River Arno and include the Continental, Grand Hotel and Excelsior.
