Accommodation in Knock could best be described as limited. The population is only 1,500 and subsequently, there is a small choice of places to stay. Many people choose to visit the area on a daytrip, so it may be worth considering basing yourself in one of the nearby towns such as Charlestown, Foxford, Claremorris or Castlebar.

There are a number of guesthouses and B&Bs, such as Mervue Guest House, located in the centre of the town and only three minutes walk from the Knock Marian Shrine; and Aisling House, situated on the Ballyhaunis on Dublin road, about 300 metres from Knock Shrine and a seven minute walk from the basilica.

There are also a couple of self-catering options suitable for longer stays including Rose Cottage, which is a beautifully renovated cottage in Knock, open year-round; and Martina McGing's, a luxury bungalow centrally situated between the towns of Claremorris, Knock and Kiltimagh.
