Weather In Thessaloniki
Thessaloniki has a typically Mediterranean climate with hot sunny weather the norm between June and August. During these months, you can expect sunshine throughout the day and little rain, making it the most popular time to visit. Although August can be very hot and humid, fortunately, the Vardaris wind from the north helps to cool the city down. From November to March, it is pleasant and much cooler, but there is a fair chance of rain.
Cool foggy evenings
Like most cities in the north of Greece, Thessaloniki is generally cooler than Athens and the south. Evenings can be cool year-round and in the autumn, the city is famous for its fog and mist, which creates a mysterious atmosphere.
