Most people chose to stay close to the centre of the city, within walking distance of the places of interest as well as of cafés, bars and restaurants. Thessaloniki has a wide range of accommodation choices to suit all tastes and budgets.

Aristotelous Square, facing out to sea, is the heartbeat of the city, where people come to relax at one of the many bars, cafés and restaurants that line the square. It is also a very popular place to stay and a great base for visiting all of the city’s key attractions. The square is generally a noisy and lively place, and there are plenty of options for visitors who want to be close but not right in the hub of activity.
