Stuttgart Weather

Stuttgart has a mild climate when compared to many other German cities. However, temperatures can occasionally dip to lows of -10°C (16°F) during the winter season (November to March). Summer months enjoy warmer temperatures, but there is also an increase in rainfall, though humidity rarely exceeds 80 per cent.

Seasons

The city is located in a temperate zone and experiences all four seasons, with cold winters, pleasant springs, warm summers and beautiful autumns. However, visitors tend to come to Stuttgart at any time of year, as many of the attractions aren’t weather-dependent.

When to go

The best weather is usually between May and September, when daytime temperatures are pleasant and evenings don’t become too cold. But, as the weather can be quite variable at any time of year, you’re advised to bring along a rain jacket and a sweater.
