‘Commercial hospitality’ is a long-standing tradition in Frankfurt. Where to stay

There is a good choice of hotels in the Bahnhofsviertel (around the main station). The quality can vary considerably, although the prices don't always reflect this. A good choice for comfortable accommodation is the district of Westend, near the Exhibition Centre. There are also a number of small and charming guesthouses here. If you prefer to stay in the city centre then the Hotel Zentrum Hauptwache and the Hotel am Dom are both good options.
