Muse des Beaux Arts Dijon

Art lovers won’t be disappointed as Dijon is home to an outstanding art museum, Musée des Beaux Arts Dijon. Located in the eastern wing of the Palais des Ducs, this art museum is one of the most famous in France. Muse de la Vie Bourguignonne

Jardin de l'Arquebuse and Muse

Also known as the Arquebus Botanical Garden and Museum, this lovely garden provides lush-green walking paths, ponds, small rivers and spacious recreational areas. Walk around the park and relax amid the beauty of nature right in the heart of the city. Muse Archeologique

This museum will fascinate those with interest in archeology. The displays show a variety of artefacts with cultural and historical significance such as precious Celtic jewellery, rare items from the Romanesque period and Gothic items. The main highlight of the museum is the ancient bronze representation of Goddess Sequana, the goddess of healing, dating back to the 1st century AD.

Notre Dame Cathedral

Not the world-renowned one in Paris, this is Dijon’s very own Notre Dame Cathedral, which is no less exquisite. The church is one of the architectural marvels in the city, as there are no corners in the church, which marks its uniqueness. Walking inside the church, visitors will be enchanted by the beautiful interior boasting magnificent stained glass windows and an impressive 12th century black wooden Virgin. Don’t forget to touch the small sculpted owl situated at the north wall of the church for good luck.
