Meal prices vary massively depending on where you go, but mid-price establishments are comparable to UK restaurants; the sky’s the limit however and you can easily pay a hundred euros for a gourmet meal here.

When and where to eat

The French are fairly typically continental with regards to eating times and few people venture out to restaurants before 20:00. Restaurants open earlier; however, you might find yourself eating in an empty establishment if you choose to dine any earlier. Venues invariably stay open late and it’s not unusual to be still enjoying the house wine after 23:00.
