There are relatively few safety risks in this town. Aix is considered to be very safe with a very low crime rate. However, you should still always be on your guard as pickpockets have been known to target unsuspecting and vulnerable tourists here. Visitors are a lot more susceptible to theft or loss of personal belongings. The best advice is to always be on your guard and never leave any belongings unattended.

If you decide to drive while you are on holiday or undertake outdoor pursuits such as rock climbing, you will be at greater risk of having an accident, so you must ensure that great care is taken at all times.
