Copenhagen Weather
Copenhagen experiences a mild climate throughout the year, which makes it a great city in which to both live and visit. While summers are not especially hot compared with European cities with Mediterranean locations, neither are its winters especially cold; one reason why the Danes like to cycle around the city regardless of the season. Rainfall is spread fairly evenly throughout the seasons.
Summer
The summer season brings temperatures averaging around 20°C, with daily highs of around 21°C in July and August. Rainfall from June through September is between two and three inches, and is not especially predictable. From a tourist’s perspective, July and August are probably the best months to visit Copenhagen, as the warmer weather makes sightseeing a more pleasurable experience.

Winter
Winters can get a little cold but are on the whole relatively mild, with temperatures generally around 2°C to 4°C and only occasionally dipping to freezing, while hardly ever falling below. Rainfall is actually lower than in the summer months, with December seeing around two inches, but January and February seeing less. It’s perfectly feasible to visit at these times, although you might want to pack a warm coat or jacket for outdoors and some sweaters or similar clothing for indoors.
