Getting to Copenhagen
Copenhagen is a highly accessible city and visitors can choose their means of transport for getting here, based on cost and convenience. While most visitors will arrive by air at Copenhagen International Airport, a reasonable percentage of others will make their way by road, using either private vehicle or taking advantage of the Eurolines bus service, which provides routes in from a large number of EU destinations. Train and ferry options are also viable.
By car
The E20, the E47 and the E55 provide principle access to the city of Copenhagen, and signs to the Danish capital are common and easy to follow. Denmark shares a border with Germany and crossings are pretty much problem-free for EU drivers entering at this point.
